Hill Top Kennels, located in Crooked Creek near Grande Prairie, Alberta, was designed to offer the ultimate in comfort for dogs and cats during their short or long-term stays. We know your dog or cat isn't just a pet, but a member of your family, which is why we give them the care and attention they need to feel relaxed and at home, while you're away.

Owner and operator, Melodie, is known to many as an animal lover whose professional boarding experience and gentle, caring nature make her the perfect host for this dog kennel. One visit to Hill Top and you will see that our facility is unlike other kennels Grande Prairie, Valleyview and the surrounding areas have to offer.  For us, boarding pets isn't just a hobby or even a side-business. Our focus is providing quality care for the dogs and cats that stay with us.

A Safe & Comfortable Place for Your Pet to Stay

The kennel is designed so each dog has his or her own space with access to an outdoor run. During their stay, dogs enjoy the warmth of in-floor heating and can stretch and play in spacious, individual outdoor runs. Throughout our property, there are beautiful walking trails for your dog to explore, on leash, for a small extra fee.

For those with cats, our facility is equipped with a separate room that's not visible to the dogs. Felines also have individual pens and can access safe and secure outdoor areas when the weather is good.

Convenient, Reliable Boarding

When they choose our dog kennels, Grande Prairie, Valleyview and area pet owners can conveniently drop their pets off at our facility, located just 30 seconds from highway 43. Whether you're on your way to Calgary, Edmonton or another destination in Alberta, our large horseshoe driveway even allows us to accommodate those hauling large trailers or driving transport trucks.
